Trisamya Concept is based on our understanding that Sun is the source of almost all energy that sustains Life on Earth, and that our body needs sunlight for optimal health. Humans are adapted to sunlight as a complex stimulus that, at the appropriate dosage, helps keep our biological systems running.
TRISAMYA is a Sanskrit word (tri = three; samya = balance/equilibrium), which literally means, “where there is equilibrium of the three regulatory systems”. The physiological process is regulated by three systems, 1) Nervous System, 2) Endocrine System, and 3) Immune system, and these systems should be balanced, both at macro and micro levels, for maintenance of health. Any imbalance in these energies disturbs the homeostasis leading to disease manifestation or unhealthy state.

The name, TRISAMYA, is very appropriate as our photobiomodulation technology uses the 3 primary color frequencies (red, yellow, and blue) and their 3 complementary color frequencies (green, violet, and orange), to modulate or balance the immune system.

About The Founder
Dr. Shakti Upadhyay
Dr. Shakti Upadhyay, the innovator and founder of Trisamya, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Paris, France, with post-doctoral research experience at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Harvard Medical School, Boston. With over 40 years of professional experience in life sciences, including roles as a Senior Scientist at the National Institute of Immunology, Research Director at Reliance Life Sciences, and Chief Research Officer at EID Parry (India) Ltd., he has traversed academia, industrial R&D, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Upadhyay’s expertise spans cell biology, reproductive biology, and immunology. His journey includes an academic phase for holistic understanding, an industrial R&D phase for translating scientific knowledge into healthcare technologies, and now, as an entrepreneur, he leads Trisamya Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. With a recently established “Center for Photomedicine” in Navi Mumbai, the focus is on non-invasive photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy for various clinical conditions.
